Steam Deck: Install Diablo IV Beta (Internally, Externally and as a Shared Battle.net game)

NOTE: If you’re here about Diablo 4 release? Please use GE Proton 8-3 instead of the recommended one.

With Diablo IV open beta coming, I figured it was time to put together a video showing how to install this.

A special version of Proton is needed and you may not want to install it in the same Battle.net install you already have. I’ll show you how to install this both internally and on an external drive.

For those that want to “dare to share”, I’ll cover how to install D4 beta as its own Steam entry but shares the Battle.net app with your other game(s).

(note: You must have hidden files shown in Dolphin)
