Follow the steps mentioned below to setup Jio Network on popular android smartphones.

Step 1 – Insert your Jio SIM in SIM Slot 1

To setup Jio Network on your android smartphones, you need to insert your Jio Sim in Sim slot 1 of your Smartphone

Step2 – Setting up the network type on your phone

To setup Jio Network in your Samsung – open settings, go to Mobile Networks, choose Network Mode SIM1 and select LTE/3G/2G (autoconnect). (VO remark: Kindly do voice over of ‘/ ’ as slash instead of ‘Or’)

Setting up the network type on your Xiaomi phone

To setup Jio Network in your Xiaomi smartphones – open settings, go to SIM cards & mobile Networks, choose SIM 1 under Sim Card Settings, locate ‘Preferred Network Type’ and select “Prefer LTE”.

Setting up the network type on your OPPO phone

To setup Jio Network in your OPPO smartphones – Open settings, go to “Dual SIM & Mobile Data, select “Preferred Network Type’’ and choose “4G/3G/2G (Auto).

Step 3 – Route data through your Jio SIM

For Samsung phones – open Settings, open SIM card manager, select Mobile Data and choose “Select SIM 1”.

On your Xiaomi phone – go to Settings, SIM Cards & Mobile Networks, choose “Internet” and then select SIM 1.

If you have an OPPO phone – open Settings, ’Dual SIM & Mobile Data, choose Internet and select “SIM1”.

Step 4- Enable “Data Roaming”

For Samsung phones – go to Settings, Mobile Networks and touch the slider next to “Data Roaming” to turn it ON.

For Xiaomi phones – open Settings, go to SIM cards & Mobile Networks and tap on “Data Roaming” and now select “Always”.

On OPPO phones – open Settings, go to Dual SIM & Mobile Data and touch the slider next to “Data Roaming” to turn it ON.

In case you are facing problems connecting to the internet even though you have data balance & above settings are in place, you can try resetting the APN settings.

In order to reset APN on a Samsung phone – open Settings, go to Mobile Networks, Select Access Point Names, choose SIM 1 , tap “More” and select “Reset to Default”. Finally hit Reset to confirm this on the pop up message.

On Xiaomi phones – open Settings, go to SIM cards & Mobile Networks, select SIM 1, go to Access Point Names and tap “Reset to Default”

For Oppo phones – open Settings, select “Dual SIM & Mobile Data”, tap SIM 1, Access Point Names and tap “Rest to Default” at the bottom of the screen.

As a final step, always restart your phone after performing these steps and you should be able to enjoy Jio services seamlessly.
