Taylor Swift Turned Down $100 million FTX sponsorship after doing Due Diligence

Taylor Swift backed out of a $100 million sponsorship deal with crypto exchange FTX after questioning whether the exchange was offering unregistered securities, according to lawyer Adam Moskowitz. Moskowitz is leading a class-action lawsuit against several celebrities for promoting FTX, including Shaquille O’Neal, Tom Brady, and Larry David. The suit alleges that the celebrities failed to do their due diligence to ensure FTX was not breaking the law. The suit seeks over $5 billion from the celebrity endorsers. FTX filed for bankruptcy in November 2021.
