Today I am going to show you how to register a domain name at NameCheap.com
First what you need to do is to enter the domain that you desired into the search box
To search whether the domain is available or not.
Let say I want to make a blog on…. or a site on WordPress Tutorial
Type in wordpresstutorial.com, press search

ohh WordpressTutorial dot io is available but it is too expensive
Let try another name… let try beginner
This is just a demo and I will not buy any domain becaue I am not researching for it yet.

next you need to click add to cart
if you want to buy any other domain just tick on the tick box
1 year subscription $10.69 and ican fee is 18 cent
Free whois guard subscription for one year

Then you can go to express checkout or checkout
If you don’t have account with name cheap, you need to register it here
For myself I already have an acount, so I will login here.
Creating account is as simple as creating an email so I will not go into there.

Then enter all your detail if just create an account
just fill in what required then click save and continue

Automatically renew before expiration. It is up to you whether you wnt to automatially renew the domain.
If you plan to use it for long term just check this.
If you plan to use it for less than a year just set do not renew automaticly

Then enable whois guard
Automaticly renew subscription?
It is really up to you.
I usually do not set to automatic, so I have the option later

Set DNS server
you can set it if you have dns server, for the time being just left it as it is
in the next video I will show you how to transfer DNS from namecheap server to hostgator server

Then click save and continue

you can pay by fund. (This is fund that is preloaded in namecheap)
using credit card or paypal
I usually use paypal because it easy and have buyer protection.

I have the option to use dot Asia for $19.99, it is more expensive

There is a blog post written by weebly.com owner that he have problem when hosting and have domain at the same place.
Imagine big site like weebly have problem, small site like us don’t even try it…

That is why I always buy domain from namecheap and host it at hostgator
