How to Check What Version of Internet Explorer You Have

If you are using Internet Explorer browser, and don’t know what version of Internet Explorer you are using. Then, must watch this video till the end. In this video, we will learn two different ways to know about the version of Internet Explorer. Follow these easy steps.

1. Open your Internet Explorer, like here I am opening my Microsoft Edge app.
2. At the top right, click on the three horizontal dots of the more menu.
3. Click on the Settings from the drop-down list.
4. On the left side menu panel, click on the About Microsoft Edge menu.
5. On the About info page, you will find the version of your current Internet Explorer.
6. Close the Internet Explorer.
7. Click on the Start button at the bottom left on your desktop.
8. Scroll down the Windows program list, and click on the Windows System folder.
9. Click on the Command Prompt to open it.
10. Type the following command
reg query “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftInternet Explorer” space /v svcVersion
11. We have written the same command in the description of this video. You can copy and paste this command from there.
12. Press Enter Key on your keyboard.
13. See, this is showing the installed version of Internet Explorer.
