The RTX 4090 is a ridiculously fast graphics card, providing gamers with high framerates at 4K with high quality visuals. What I wanted to do was overclock this MSI Gaming X Trio model to see how much faster we can make this card. Out of the box performance was already stellar but with such a large frequency jump from ada lovelace it begs the questions how well the GPU scales with overclocking. I tested 12 games at 4K and found that the clock speeds would hover around 3GHz which is quite astonishing to see from a GPU.
