Seventy-five years ago, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was born from the ashes of the Second World War. Thirty years ago, the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action established the equal statute of all human rights. Today, human rights for all have become a shared pursuit of humanity.

In this episode, three participants from a special two-day forum held in Beijing on global human rights governance discuss the developments of human rights around the world, what achievements have been made, and what actions we must urgently take in the future. They are Aslan Abashidze, member of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; Dr. Wu Wenyang from the Institute for Human Rights at China University of Political Science and Law; and Zoon Ahmed Khan, research fellow at the Center for China and Globalization.
