How to install Tomcat on Mac OS X | Apache Tomcat 9.0 Installation

Step 1: Check Java is Installed or not:
Execute java -version on the terminal.

Step 2: Download Tomcat installation package:
URL : https://tomcat.apache.org/download-90.cgi

Step 3: Unzip this file to somewhere in a folder.

Step 4: open the terminal and execute “startup.sh” file to run tomcat

Step 5: Open browser and type: http://localhost:8080/

Step 6: how to shut down: Now open terminal and type ./shutdown.sh to execute.
