AI represents the next transformation of the PC, so we sat down with Intel VP & GM of Client AI John Rayfield to learn why it makes sense to bring more of it into the client. Upcoming Meteor Lake processors will include a dedicated inference accelerator optimized for low power, and they’ll also be capable of running AI workloads across the CPU and integrated GPU. Software is critical, which is why we’re supporting an open ecosystem that can enhance existing experiences like video chat and enable new capabilities through generative AI.
