This contradicts our truth and spiritual power as the creator of our realities. The external world is an illusion, but a consequence of our thoughts, beliefs, and ideas. In linear time, it is the after effect of what we also experienced internally. Technically, the external world is behind the time and reality of the soul. This causes you to live in the past rather than the present mostly. Regrets drag you into the past, and prevent you from living in the past and taking responsibility for it. You are the cause of the external reality you witness. Take the responsibility to decide how you want to live your life. Life will throw things at you, but decide how you want to show up and what part you will play in. This allows you to claim it with a presence of mind, which brings it and you into the present.
