Master BEAM! ☄️ Stamina Arcanist PVE Build – ESO Necrom
The Arcanist beam “Exhausted Fatecarver” is insane! Did alone almost 50k single target on dummy, deals even aoe dmg, with a small 3 metres radius. Managed to get 123k+ dps, 3-4k more should be possible with some crit luck. Didn´t expect much of the arcanist in terms of dmg, kinda surprised by the decent dmg number. Only possible with the new mythic necklace “Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet” wich delivers +15% extra flat dmg against monsters, even after the big pen + crit dmg nerf, still op on this build, because light attacks are kinda useless anyway with the green long channeled beam!
About Rotation:
It´s basically all about to empower our channeled ability Fatecarver. With gained Crux, we can increase dmg and duration of it. We can build up Crux easily with Cepheliarc’s Flail (1x Crux each usage) and Inspired Scholarship (another 1x Crux if we have none), wich we consume after beam usage. Rotation is kinda tricky, we need to find a balance between recasting dots and beam usage. Sometimes more worth to reapply dots earlier before beaming so they don´t expire to long since the beam duration is extremely long with 5 seconds channel time. I usually reapply dots at 2-3 seconds on timer before casting a beam. I´ve desloted scalding rune for another barbed trap for an easier rotation, had same results with rune. More a flex spot there, caltrops or degeneration work too.
Try to keep up the ultimate “The Languid Eye” on cd, deals a ton of dmg. Most important part is to always empower your beam with Cepheliarc’s Flail, use this skill twice to gain 2x crux before launching the beam! We gain always passively another crux for free, with scholarship as soon as we consume them all. Don´t worry about missing light attacks, dmg is almost nullified with the mythic neck. You´ll need some time to get used to it, but expected from a new class.
Rotation:
Make sure to have 3x Crux before starting. Drain your Stamina with Camo Hunter until around 40%, needed with Coral Riptide. Prebuff with Inspired Scholarship + Deadly Cloak.
Step closer, Start with:
Barbed Trap – Blockade – Barswap – Cepheliarc’s Flail – Barswap – Fulminating Rune – Languid Eye – Barswap – Exhausted Fatecarver alias Beam! Reapply Dots at 2-3 seconds timer, don´t worry if they expire for 2 seconds, beam usage is more important. Use Cepheliarc’s Flail twice in combination with Beam.
