SharePoint Navigation Switcher (vertical to horizontal)
📢SharePoint Navigation Switcher
This feature update will bring users a new navigation option feature for SharePoint team sites. Team site owners will be able to switch the team site navigation orientation from vertical to horizontal.
Additionally, site navigation visibility can be turned off completely. This new navigation option allows site owners to customize their team site by changing navigation’s orientation and visibility to achieve a different look and feel, layouts, and alignment styles.
You will be able to choose Menu style between Cascaded menu or Mega Menu.
The Mega menu style is only available for the horizontal orientation.
Here are some first Test feedback I found:
✔️It is now possible to create 3 levels of navigation on the Vertical Navigation (before it was only 2 levels)
✔️ If you switch to horizontal navigation and you have too many Links then some of the Link will be within the 3 Dots (those links within the 3 dot will only be shown as Cascaded Only)
