Can’t Connect Wireless to Philips TV

If you are able to connect to the internet on other devices but having trouble connecting your Philips wireless TV to the internet in your home and need troubleshooting help this short video should provide you with simple and straight forward suggestions to solve your connectivity issue(s).

Components making up your home network are the Router (connects your computer to your local home network) and the Modem (connects your Router to the internet). In some cases the router and modem are separate devices and in some cases they are combined together in one device.
Steps to take:

1) Verify your routers password is entered in the Philips TV
correctly and ensure that it matches your wireless networks
password.
2) Reset your Network Settings and try to reconnect the Philips
TV to your home network.
3) Run a Network Connectivity test on your Philips TV to verify
the devices in your network are communicating with one
another.
4) Verify your routers function and the number of devices on your
home network. Having too many devices one a single network
can slow or cause function delays or stutter.
5) Verify your wireless network bandwidth on your computer at
www.speedtest.net .
6) If all previous steps fail to resolve your issue, we recommend
you use a wired connection using an Ethernet cable connected
directly from your Philips TV to your router.
7) If the wired Ethernet connection fails to solve your issue you
should verify the MAC address stored in the Philips TV found
under the Manual Network Settings to determine if there may
be an issue with the TV’s chipset. If the MAC address shows
all zeros (0000….) please call your Philips Consumer Care
expert. .
