As you begin migrating your networks from IPv4 to IPv6, you need to understand how to configure routing protocols (e.g. OSPF) to route IPv6 networks. This video shows you two ways to configure IPv6 routing, using OSPFv3, on Cisco routers. Specifically, you can use the traditional approach, where you create an OSPFv3 routing process that only supports IPv6 routes, and you can alternately use the OSPFv3 address family approach.
Beyond knowing how to configure routers at the command line interface (CLI), you also need to be what Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins calls a “Hybrid Engineer,” where you have both CLI skills and programming skills.
