ESO – Magicka Sorcerer PVE Build (135k+) – Firesong

After around 17 hours parsing i “only” got 135k dps this time (previous crit luck was inhuman!). Swaped out whorl for relequen for more crit rate gave me more consistent dmg, was usually around 127-132k ish dmg, everything above those numbers are only possible with insane crit luck + proc frags and the right timing, i do not recommend to reach that number 😀 For extra aoe dmg i would still use whorl over relequen like my previous build here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdk3DORk5LM
Did some tests with aegis caller, deals way less dmg then the BIS sets pillar/relequen/whorl even if it gets empowered by deadric curse! I´ve also parsed without the execute mages wrath, with barbed trap on the frontbar and carve backbar, wich gives slightly more aoe dmg and magicka sustain, stamina should be no problem with 6x medium armor pieces. Keep in mind, your armor pieces always depends on your group constellation, check your penetration (shoud be around 18k) and crit dmg (around 125%) with an addon like combat metrics for max dmg output! In generell it´s all about crystal fragment, your weaving, timing, crit luck, proc luck etc. so spamm those fragments and pray for critluck!
About Rotation:
Make sure to keep Pillar of Nirn on Cooldown, a Skill Tracker like Srendarr is rly helpful for the timing! With Trap, Hurricane and Stampede you should have no issue to keep it on cd or close to it! Prioritize the Crystal Fragment Proc over everything as soon as it procs use it! Like in the previous Patch i´ve used Overload at the beginning for around 3-4k more single target dmg and droped the Atronarch shortly before 170 Ulti Points, if you´re unsure slot Dawnbreaker on Frontbar and put Atronarch Backbar should be more common for actual Content. Everything else is pretty easy, spamm Crystal Fragment and keep up your Dots. About the Pets, do only actively use the Volatile Familiar Pet, the Twilight Pet deals passive dmg do not activate it, only as prebuff! Start using Barbed Trap after the first Pillar of Nirn Cooldown (around 10 seconds after start). Avoid Barswap with the channeled Crystal Fragment, always super clunky to barswap with channeled abilities.
Written Rotation:
Activate Overload and summon both Pets, use Channeled Acceleration swap back to Barbed Trap, activate both Pets, step closer:
Start with Stampede + Hurricane, swap to your Frontbar, use Deadric Prey + Spamm Crystal Fragment (use Fragment Proc as soon as possible), keep up your Dots with Fragment as spammable until 20%. At 20% drop Crystal Fragment cast (not the Proc) for Mages Wrath in Combination with Fragment Proc.
