How to Use Debian Live Build In Buster – Making eznixOS Linux

Here is an instructional video demonstrating how I build eznixOS. I decided to use the respinning of my Debian based eznixOS103r2 as an excuse to show the build process.

There are only small changes and additions to this release. I added Clonezilla into the build so users have a tool to do hard drive imaging and backups from both the live session and in the installed system. Clonezilla can be used when booted live to image partitions and entire hard drives, and can also be used on the installed system to image drives connected via USB. I have added a feature to the EZ Admin Tool to easily install a newer kernel and firmware from Debian’s Backports repository. For those looking to experiment with the newer kernel, or for those who require a newer kernel for their hardware, this feature should help. As usual, there are updated packages and security fixes since the previous release. Enjoy, and have fun. 🙂
