XT-IDE Setup and DOS Install

I was sent an XT-IDE adapter to make a video on, so it’s time for my 5150 to be floppy free!

This was a surprisingly difficult video to make. I went down a lot of paths to come to the simple installation directions I used here. I couldn’t find one source of info that explained this in a way that made it easy to jump into and setup.

It’s probably time I did some upgrades to my 5150 to make it run some more software as well…

Some of the audio wasn’t the best because I was trying out an effectively free lapel mic I got. I really enjoyed using it for some shots and I’ll probably get a better one for future videos because it could make some of my editing a lot easier.
