It is stated that the DISA STIG profile for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 in the scap-security-guide (SSG) package is now more compatible with the content of DISA, while the internet security center (CIS) profiles in the scap-security- guide (SSG) package are now CIS Red Hat It is stated to be compatible with Enterprise Linux 8 Benchmark version 2.0.0. RHEL 8.7 introduces a new xmlstarlet package. It is said that it is now possible to parse, transform, query, validate and edit XML files with XMLStarlet. Coming with opencryptoki 3.18.0, powerpc-utils 1.3.10, libva 2.13.0, chrony 4.2 and unbound 1.16.2 have been updated to RHEL 8.7. system;It includes GCC 12, LLVM 14.0.6, Rust 1.62, Go 1.18, Ruby 3.1, Mercurial 6.2 and Node.js 18.It also enables the establishment of secure connections (including over Wi-Fi) along with robust firewall rules. It is reminded that errors or problems can be reported via Bugzilla.
