‘336 villages get high-speed internet’ Tawang locals overjoyed with new 4G towers in Arunachal

In a big boost for connectivity across Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh, the government of India has installed 254 new 4G mobile towers and made them operational in 336 remote villages. Tawang locals expressed joy as they are getting high-speed internet facility.
A local, Tashi Yangchin says, “Lot of benefits. It helps students in studying. There is help in communication too.” Tawang Extra Assistant Commissioner(GA/Prot/Naz) Rinchin Leta said, “It is almost ten number of working 4G towers. Earlier the network was very poor at Tawang. On set of 4G tower, people of Tawang especially students are benefiting. Education is now being conducted online, so people are going to benefit through 4G tower.”
