Final Fantasy VII Remake – Steam Deck Mod for 40fps without Resolution Scaling (Best Settings)
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (FF7 Remake) just hit the Steam store and I’ve been looking into ways to get the best performance out of the game while retaining good image quality. Ideally we would be able to run this game out of the box at 40 fps without any major hiccups, but the game cannot freely target a framerate between 30 and 60. If we target 60 fps and limit the game to 40 fps the image becomes much blurrier as the games dynamic resolution scaling works to make the game run at 60 fps, despite the fact we don’t need it to scale so low. This video covers solutions to the problem to give you the best settings for the Steam Deck!
