AMD Is Dropping Prices on GPUs? – Graphics Card Market Recovery

Recently on newegg and other various retailers the RX 7900XT has had a pretty considerable price drop, down to $799 which is $100 below MSRP. This GPU hasn’t even been on the market for more than 4 months and has already had its priced dropped by around 11% which tells you how poorly its doing on the market. This was a given due to it being priced terribly to begin with. It just didn’t make sense to get an RX 7900XT when the RX 6950XT basically gave you the same performance or for $100 you can get an RX 7900XTX which is way faster. The slower RTX 4070 Ti has been outselling this GPU and that’s probably not going to change. While this is a step in the right direction, its not close to where it should be.
