Tarik Carroll wants to see more body diversity in media, especially in the fashion industry. So now he’s dispelling toxic masculinity and redefining what is really means to be a man in entertainment.

After becoming tired of the work he was getting, Tarik set out to bring diversity and representation to the fashion world. As a fashion photographer, model, and Black man he started to rethink what fantasy the fashion industry is selling and how he could tap into a more authentic campaign.

Tarik was inspired to start The EveryMAN Project; a body positivity initiative that encouraged body diversity in the fashion and entertainment industry. It dispels toxic masculinity and redefines on what it means to be a man. The project captures different men from all gender spectrums, sizes, and looks.

Tarik hopes his work as a fashion photographer will create a needed shift in the fashion industry to become more inclusive, or as he puts it, ‘campaign worthy sh*t.’
