For Honor is only playable via SteamOS at this moment in time, this game was non-playable for a long time but now it is, I’m guessing Ubisoft put out an update recently preventing the EAC from clashing with Linux which has been seen with other games such as Division 2 etc.

There are currently 2 issues with the game that I am trying to figure out which can be observed in the video.

– R3 must be pressed to centre the camera due to the Camera analog/trackpad not currently working, this may be an easy issue to solve and once it has been solved I will post an updated video.

– A notification overlay is always present in the top right hand corner telling us our ‘Video driver is outdated’ via Ubisoft Connect, we may be able to block this with further analysis.

An updated video will be posted for ‘For Honor’ once these issues are resolved, for now the game can be seen running very well with excellent performance & battery life.
