Copying customized User profile as default user in Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server

This video is to demonstrate how to copy user profile as default profile in Windows 2008.

A user called “template” is used to configure as a user profile template ( I have added Chinese IME as example)

Then I create a new user called “staff01”. The user staff 01 will have Chinese IME added at first logon after I have copied the user profile of “template”

Existing profile before copying user profile is not affected I will logon as administrator to confirm if there is chinese IME appeared during this demo.

Windows 2008 Terminal server is the OS used. This demo also apply to XenApp environment
