Zen 5 THIS YEAR?! | FSR 3 DETAILED – DOUBLES Your FPS

AMD have officially detailed FSR 3 / FideltyFX Super Resolution 3, giving us an early look at the upcoming next gen version of their upsampling technology. We examine the details revealed, including how FSR 3 upscaling will DOUBLE your in game FPS, how it is improved compared to FSR 2 and we touch on the technique used and how it compares to Nvidia DLSS 3. FSR 2 was a HUGE improvement in quality of graphics when upsampled and frame rate, so just what kind of performance and graphics fidelity improvements can we expect? And will this be for RDNA 4, and just how will DLSS compete?

We also have some reports that Ryzen 8000 AKA Zen 5 will be THIS YEAR. We examine why we believe this is unlikely, including looking at AMD’s official desktop CPU roadmap and the pencilled in release window for Zen 5. But if this “next gen” Ryzen processor is not Zen 5, just what could it be?
