How NOT to Power Mining Rig GPU Risers – First Mining Rig

I have been watching a ton of mining content recenly on Red Panda Mining and Red Fox Crypto’s Youtube Channels, checkout the link below. They have some amazing content around best practices for wiring your Mining Rigs and what NOT to do. One of those is to not power your GPU Risers with SATA. Based off that information SATA is limited to 54w max for power distribution where your GPU’s PCie slot can pull up to 75w on demand.

Note: PCIe is King! When in doubt power your GPUs & GPU Riser via PCEi 6 or 8 pin, as needed.
