How to Install Centos 7 on Proxmox Virtual Environment

Hi guys, welcome to my channel Fathir Habib, in this video, I will show you How to Install Centos 7 on Proxmox Virtual Environment.

On this time I will install centos 7 on this proxmox server, open the new tab, please type download centos 7, click on link Download – centOS, click on this link, click on the top mirror link, click on centos 7 minimal dash 2009 dot iso, now file centos 7 minimal dash 2009 dot iso is downloading. Now I was downloaded file centos 7 dot iso, back again to your proxmox server, click on upload, click on Select File, please browse the iso file was you downloaded, click on Open, click on Upload, now the TASK OK, it’s mean that we have been successfully uploaded the iso file.

Click on Create VM, please type your Virtual Machine Name, click on OS, on the ISO Image, please select the centos 7 minimal dash 2009 dot iso, on the System, let it default, on the Disk, adjust your Disk Size, on this time I upgrade in to eighty gigabyte, on the CPU, let it default, on the Memory I upgrade in to 8 gigabyte, on the Network, I choose the default, on the Confirm, tick on start after created, click on Finish.

Click on Console, please press up arrow, please press Enter on install centos 7, it’s asking me what language would you like to use during the installation process? on this time, I choose the default English, click on Continue, click on the Installation Destination, click on QEMU QEMU HARDDISK, click on Done, click on the Network and Host Name, please turn on the Ethernet Connection, click on Done, click on the Begin Installation, click on root password, please type your root password, please type confirm your password, click on Done, click on User Creation, please type your Full Name, please type your password, please type confirm password, click on Done, now is the processing of installation, it will take some time, Centos is now successfully installed and ready for you to use, click on Reboot.

On the localhost login, please login as root or super user and then press enter, please enter your password,

please type :
sudo yum update

it’s asking me to install one package and upgrade 114 package,

please type :
y
it’s asking me to importing GPG Key,

please type :
y

please type :
sudo yum upgrade
