Cephalid Breakfast Thassa's Oracle Legacy Combo Deck — Live Stream | Magic: The Gathering MTG

Cephalid Breakfast is a three-color Legacy Format Combo deck that aims to win the game using the ability of Thassa’s Oracle with no cards left in our library. This interaction is played by multiple decks in the format like Doomsday and Oops! All Spells.

We have a unique way getting our library empty though! With the combination of Cephalid Illusionist and Nomad’s en-Kor, we can mill three cards from the top of our library at will. Repeated use of this ability will allow three copies of Narcomoeba to enter the battlefield. We will also mill a Dread Return into our graveyard. By sacrificing the copies of Narcomoeba to Dread Return, we can bring back the Thassa’s Oracle from the graveyard and win the game with no cards in our library!

The tricky part is getting our combo to resolve without interaction. Teferi, Time Raveler stops almost all interaction from our opponent while Force of Will, Daze, and Cabal Therapy can clear the way too. Cephalid Breakfast is a strong combo deck with lots of interaction of it’s own. This stream will be testing out how the deck feels after the banning of Expressive Iteration and White Plume Adventurer from the Legacy format.
