Capcom has just released their Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw Demo on Steam, so let’s see how it performs on the Steam Deck!
Resident Evil 4 is one of my favourite games ever and I was super hyped to see the demo release so I had to see if we could get it to run on the Steam Deck despite the game not having any Steam Deck verification.
In the video I show you what you’ll need to do to get the game to run on a stock Steam Deck without cryoutilities installed, if you’ve got cryoutilities installed you may be able to achieve better performance than me.
Bear in mind I still had bugs appear, like letterboxing and a irremovable mouse cursor. If you know the fixes for these drop them down in the comments!
