🚨Version 8.2 has been released. This tutorial works exactly the same for version 8.2 just download the 8.2 version zip files!🚨
If you have multiple webcams open the run.bat notepad and change the last line like this
GazeRedirect.exe –split_screen_view=true –cam_id=1
where cam_id is something that defines your camera. By default it’s 0. if it doesnt work change the 1 to a 2 and so on until it finds the right one

NVIDIA MAXINE can re-orient your eye contact towards the webcam at all times! It is an amazing tool for meetings using zoom or even for making content like youtube or twitch.

🚨Make sure you open GazeRedirect before you open OBS
If one browser doesn’t work try another browser to download the files.
You need, 20xx/30xx/40xx or titan NVIDIA GPU to run this program🚨

Latest MAXINE-AR-SDK

– Extract all from Zip file

Maxine Windows ARD SDK (BIN) folder:

– Extract all from Nvidia AR SDK

– Drag and drop the “bin” folder to the main folder in the first download. It has a file named README.MD

– GazeRedirect is located on samplesGazeRedirect

– Change Name of the run file to run.bat if it isn’t already. (had troubles when i didn’t change it from run)
– Duplicate the run.bat file and name the duplicate run.bat original. (just in case you want to reset back to original)
– edit run.bat file, copy paste from below:

SET PATH=%PATH%;….samplesexternalopencvbin;….bin;
SET NVAR_MODEL_DIR=….binmodels
GazeRedirect.exe –split_screen_view=false

– run it from Command Prompt in the directory bar at the top (cmd)
