How to connect Google Site to Google Domain Name 2021

Although Google makes things easy, there is still room for some confusion. This is a quick and to the point video on how to link the Google website (site) you’ve made to your google domain name.
This does not apply for Google Workspace.
Notes:
1- You will not need to go back to the publish settings of the google site and add the custom URL. It will be automatically update that when everything has taken effect.
2 – At the 1:47 mark of the video, you will see the 2 boxes, the left of which says “Subdomain”. At the time the video was made, it looks like it automatically entered in the name after the www. Currently, the subdomain box should only have “www” and nothing else.
