Redis 6.2 New Features and commands

Redis is an in-memory data structure store, used as a distributed, in-memory key–value database, cache and message broker, with optional durability. Redis supports different kinds of abstract data structures, such as strings, lists, maps, sets, sorted sets, HyperLogLogs, bitmaps, streams, and spatial indices.

Redis 6.2 introduced lots of new features and enhancements. In the video and this accompanying repository, we’ll look at five of them:

New options for the SET command.
New alternatives to the GET command.
The new HRANDFIELD command.
