The “screen” command in Linux allows a user to open multiple terminal sessions within a single terminal window. This allows the user to work on multiple tasks or projects at the same time, without having to switch back and forth between different terminal windows.

Additionally, the “screen” command allows the user to detach from a session and reattach to it later, which is useful for long-running tasks or when working remotely.
