Installing Debian Linux with full-disk encryption and a key-boot disk (Part 3)
This is Part three of a 5-part series which takes you through the complete installation process of the Debian Linux operating system with full-disk encryption. We also place the boot partition on an external USB flash drive.
The focus will be on privacy and anonymity.
Part three focuses on finishing up the installation and installing the Grub boot-loader on the the external USB boot drive.
After all of this is done, we save changes, remove the installation media and reboot the computer.
This configuration is designed to give us a secure and private operating system. From here we can add and configure additional privacy and anonymity tools such as Tor, Whonix and VPNs.
What you will need:
1. Computer (Laptop or desktop)
2. Internet connection (wired preferred)
3. Installer Media (CD-ROM or Flash Drive)
4. SSD Hard Drive
5. USB Flash Drive (small profile)
6. Time and Patience
