Firstly, what are internal links? People often don’t realise this, but if you think about it logically, a website is a book. You have your homepage, your page of contents, and your actual content.

An internal link is a reference to a different point in your website, and it is quite literally just a hyperlink to another page on your website.

But, what is the point?

There is a huge difference between a blog post ranking for ranking’s sake, and a blog post that gives power and strength to your other more important pages.

The point of an internal link is to give people more information about a topic which they can choose to read or not, however what internal links do for us is slightly different.

What they do for SEO’s is that they pass on page rank from one page on your website to another.

The more internal links a page has, the better, and probably you can very easily see the advantage of internal links just by this fact alone.

Let me give you an example of the power of internal links, directly from the website I’m working on – 2Men.it

One of the most important brands that we sell, at least for us, is called Kiton. Besides having a collection page for Kiton as a brand, and then all of the different products related to Kiton such as kiton-suits, kiton-shirts, beyond that – how am I supposed to tell Google that this is an important page, and it’s something I want to focus on?

What I am trying to teach people is that you can use internal links from topical authority boosting blog posts, and not only push people from your blog to your important pages, but overall increase the visibility of your money pages, by using internal links.

HOWEVER – Internal links for a long article can take a long time. Right now the best way to do them is to do them while you’re writing the article, but what if we’re using ChatGPT instead, how can we do it now?

That is where today’s video comes in.

Let’s talk about exactly how to automatically internally link all of your ChatGPT content.

Firstly you need a google sheet document with two columns, in column A you will have your keywords, in column B you will have your hyperlinks.
You can make this in a number of different ways, if you already have a lot of organic traffic, you can use Ahrefs to simply download a list of keywords and URLs. If you don’t have a lot of organic traffic on Ahrefs, you can use search console instead. Click on each page individually, sort the queries by impressions, then add the top 10 keywords to your spreadsheet with the URL in the B column.
Once you have this list, you need some content. Write some content using ChatGPT.
Open this document here – Click make a copy and replace all of the text with your text
Go to extensions . app scripts
Replace the “var YOUR_GOOGLE_SHEET_ID” with the number in your Google Sheet link
Click run, give permission to the script to run, then watch as the magic happens and your article is internally linked automatically
Post the article

That’s about it guys, huge shoutout to the AI Writer ArticleFiesta.
