How To Enable Motherboard HDMI Port for Multiple Monitors - Use Graphics Card & Integrated Graphics

I’ve had a lot of people ask about doing this with AMD Ryzen CPU’s. Most of them DO NOT have integrated graphics, so this won’t work. Ryzen CPU’s with a ‘g’ at the end of the model number have integrated graphics (ex. Ryzen 3 3200g) so they will work fine.

For Intel CPU’s it is the opposite. Basically, all Intel CPU’s have integrated graphics except the ones with and ‘F’ at the end of the model number. Ex. the Intel i5 9400F will not work.

SOLUTION: In the case, you don’t have integrated graphics, your graphics card most likely has more than one port to connect a monitor from (for example DVI or DisplayPort). If your monitor only supports HDMI you can buy an adapter (usually for fairly cheap) to connect your monitor to one of these ports.

In this video I will show you how to enable the HDMI port on your motherboard which is disabled when using a graphics card. Your CPU needs Integrated Graphics for this to work!
