How to host a Wordpress website on AWS with Custom Domain, CDN and SSL using Amazon Lightsail
Wordpress is one of those frameworks that powers the internet, but how to host it in the cloud? I want to show you all the steps you need to follow to host a wordpress website – new or migrated – in AWS.
We will be using Amazon Lightsail, a service that takes care of everything. From providing you the instance to host your wordpress, add a CDN distribution – content distribution network so your content is fast all around the globe, to provide HTTPS content with free SSL certificates. Also I want to show you how to add a custom domain. For that i will show you how to buy and configure a route 53 domain (but you can do this step with any domain provider).
