RTX 3090 TI vs RTX 4090 A brief look at VR Performance | A MASSIVE jump in the right games



VR is such an insanely demanding medium that everyone’s always going for the best they can because damn do they need it.

So, I thought I’d see if the 4090 can properly drive the highest resolution headset on the consumer market and compare it to the previous king, the 3090 TI, who still got beat up bad by this. Is the 4090 finally the card to unlock VR’s true potential?

These are just some quick benchmarks and comparisons as I was limited on time to use my 3090 TI. Thought I’d also do some I haven’t seen much of yet, because everyone’s already done things like MSFS.

Intel i9-12900k CPU
6000Mhz/CL30 DDR5 RAM
4920×3160 per eye for all benchmarks, except for the surprise one at the end of 3800×3160
