Intel stock is down over 11% after reporting its Q2 earnings. They missed expectations across the board. By A Lot. Non-GAAP earnings per share came in at $0.29, falling short of the already down analyst projections of $0.7. Revenue came in at $15.32 billion down from the analyst estimate of $17.92 billion. On top of this, they slashed their full-year guidance for earnings and revenue. When you dive deeper into the report, there is not much positive. INTC Stock Q2 was ugly. Really Ugly. Yet, on their earnings call Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger was positive about their long-term business outlook.
