Coldfusion – DJ Cris Luna (Dark, Goth And Others wave tapes)

Dark wave is a term used to refer to a dark version of new wave (or synth-pop), being considered an antithesis and a dark and melancholy response to the new wave that was in vogue in the 1980s.

Cold wave is a loosely defined musical genre that emerged in Europe in the late 1970s, characterized by its detached lyrical tone, use of vintage electronic musical instruments, and a minimalist approach and style.

Minimal wave is a broad classification of music that comprises obscure and atypical examples of genres such as new wave, stripped down electronic or synthesized music, synth-pop, post-punk, and coldwave.

Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop, from English: synthesizer pop), also called technopop, is a subgenre of new wave music, which emerged as a distinct genre in Japan and the United Kingdom in the post-punk era, predefined in the late 1960s, featuring the use of the synthesizer keyboard as the dominant musical instrument, progressively replacing the guitar, in progressive rock, electronic music, art rock, and disco music, and reached its peak in the 1980s.

In this setlist I made a mixture of Darkwave, Coldwave SynthGoth so that we can appreciate the new trends of the Gothic musical world without forgetting that beautiful fusion that permeates our musicality.
