Watch this before you buy a domain name from GoDaddy (NameCheap vs GoDaddy)

I’ll explain why in my opinion buying a domain name from GoDaddy is not the best nor the cheapest option. Even if you have hosting with them.

I’m going to compare GoDaddy vs NameCheap because I started using NameCheap recently and I’m really happy with them.

In conclusion, in my opinion, NameCheap is the winner for pretty much anyone that needs a domain. One exception is if you are a complete beginner and you only plan to set up one domain and you are using GoDaddy as hosting provider, then it’s just easier to do it with them, even if it costs a bit more. Once you get more comfortable with web things, you can always transfer your domain to NameCheap or any other domain provider.
