Delphi: Reading Poetry at a Whisper ASMR

At a whim, I have some poetry to read. Will it trigger your ASMR? I am not sure, but I have whispered the reading gently into your ear. And it’s a poem I’ve loved for a long time.

How you strain to find the swiftness to catch me.
How I struggle to find the stillness to be caught.

The poem, called Delphi, is mine. It speaks from the voice of a woman painted on the side of an amphora or an ancient greek vase to a man also painted there. A relationship that survives so long as the paint endures, but perhaps she knows more than 2D character might be expected to know. Perhaps the Oracle of Delphi knows much if we observe our Greek mythology, read up on our Bullfinch.

It’s a bit dark, but it softens up at the end. This is meant to be a tiny whispery on a Wednesday. We’ll see how it all goes.
