If you are wondering how to get access to your hard drives within vSphere Hypervisor without too much of a headache, here is how I go about mapping the drive. Perfect for getting a Sata HDD into ESXi. I had a look around and after going over a plethora of websites with conflicting information found this to be the fastest possible method.

This method does not affect ANY of your drives data/files/contents whatsoever. (Thanks to Jo for asking that question btw!)

Disclaimer: I use Ubuntu, however I’m not a Linux Fanatic by any means. This means this is very much a Noob Friendly Video that does what the title says without the need for an engineering-degree 🙂
