Install Big Sur 11.6 in Windows VMware Workstation and Install VMware Tools for macOS
Last time we installed macOS10.14 Mojave into VMware workstation. This video shows the process to install macOS 11.6 Big Sur in it. Same process but need longer time, since the image file is 14GB, much larger than Mojave’s 6GB image.
You will need to have VMware workstation installed first, then unlock VMware workstation to support macOS. Last step is to create a VM then mount your macOS iso file. Follow screen wizard’s instruction, you will be able to complete the installation. Extra step showing in this video is for how to install VMware tools for macOS.
