China is expected to target a GDP growth of greater than 5 percent for 2023 toward a strong economic recovery. Xiao Geng, director of the Institute of Policy and Practice from the Shenzhen Finance Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, said in terms of investment and consumption, more emphasis needs to be on liberalization, and it’s time to focus on the so-called internal circulation.
