It will feature an uncut AD104 GPU with 7,680 CUDA cores, 12 GB of VRAM and draw up to 400 Watts under load.
Nvidia’s upcoming Ada Lovelace-based RTX 4000 series of graphics cards have leaked quite a bit in the past few weeks. Among other things, a Titan-branded SKU is slated to make a comeback along with the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, GeForce RTX 4090 and others. Now, prolific leaker, Kopite7kimi has talked about an entirely new graphics card, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
The graphics card is expected to use an uncut AD104 GPU with 7,680 CUDA cores, 12 GB of 21 Gbps VRAM on a 192-bit bus for a total of 504 GB/s memory bandwidth. Its board is titled PG141-SKU331 and can draw up to 400 Watts under load. While the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti’s base and boost clocks are unknown, recent estimates suggest that the Ada Lovelace lineup should have no trouble operating between 2.5 GHz and 3 GHz thanks to TSMC’s N4 node.
With its non-Ti sibling expected to trade blows with the GeForce RTX 3090, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti should easily be able to deliver GeForce RTX 3090 Ti levels of performance in some applications. It will, however, face stiff competition from AMD’s Navi 32 GPU, which is expected to use a chiplet-based design and feature significantly more L2/L3 cache and faster VRAM.
