C# with Dr D, App 2 Guessing Game

This channel provides students of computing with a useful introduction. It contains videos on C# programming (or coding) and also a range of talks and presentations on general computer theory. This is primarily for Senior Secondary and University or College students of computing and programming.
The nickname of Dr D was spawned by students when I was teaching and completed my PhD in digital tech. I have taught digital/design technology and computer programming subjects in schools and universities in Australia for more than 25 years. Contact me via google/Youtube.
The computer programs shown here have been tried in educational settings in a range of programming languages. I believe C# is the best language for learning that I have used so far. Others include C-based languages like VB .Net, PHP/SQL/HTML, Java, JavaScript, Delphi and C++. Each can be argued to have its own advantages and can be taken on at a later stage. I think Python and a range of newer languages are very important and should be adopted later as well. Keep in mind that this channel is meant to allow you to commence programming simple projects in C#, to get an insight into programming techniques using a useful language and to open the door to a much bigger programming world, university courses and careers.
The talks and presentations on theory and game making are useful for students and teachers undertaking secondary school courses in digital technologies. This includes Digital Technologies in Australia and Applied Computing in the VCE in Victorian schools for senior secondary students.
I hope you enjoy the video content I have put together, even though I am intentionally not using many editing techniques, or bells and whistles – so I can put together a library of content reasonably quickly. Please like any videos that you find useful and make comments in the comments section.
