This video shows the differences between testing GPON with a PON Power Meter vs. a Broadband Power Meter. We also look at the influence that XG-PON (10 Gig PON) will have in a “Co-existent” application where 1277 nm, 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm & 1577 nm are on the same splitter serving GPON and XG-PON simultaneously.
