Remote database connection MySQL

Hello Guys! Looking for the tutorial on how to connect to database in the remote server? This is the right place for you.

*To start*:
The mysql server must be running and is accessible with local connection starting from localhost to Local area network. When you are sure it is accessible then the next step is to allow your your remote IP address to the MySQL config file. There is the tutorial for this must don’t worry because if you hosted in some hosting providers this is the simple process because they provide you with the option to do this.

To connect you have to run MySQL server in your client computer and use this command to start a connection to the remote database.
“`mysql -h hostname -u username -p“`
replace hostname with your host name or use IP address, username with the database username and your password;

If the server is configured with password you will be prompted to login. If you provide the correct password the session will be established and you can now perform database operation in your client terminal.
