"innodb_print_all_deadlocks": What Is It? (MariaDB)

In this MariaDB server tutorial we’ll walk you through the mariadb server variable called “innodb_print_all_deadlocks.”

Setting this MariaDB server variable to “1” will let the InnoDB and Percona XtraDB storage engines write all deadlock information into the error log.

A deadlock is a situation where a transaction X is waiting for a SQL transaction Y to finish, while the SQL transaction Y is waiting for the transaction X to finish. Enabling this SQL parameter can help you more easily determine the source of the SQL deadlock problem.
